Managed Services for Automic Automation.

Operate

Modular, transparent, and delivered by Automic professionals— so your automation runs stable, secure, and ready for what’s next.

Operate by setis. is the specialized managed service for Automic Automation that takes the burden off your team. We handle operations, monitoring, and ongoing development of your Automic environment—from everyday tasks to complex changes. You gain time for projects and business requirements, while we ensure the platform runs reliably in the background.

With clearly defined modules and package sizes, you build exactly the scope your environment actually needs—no more and no less.

Who benefits from Operate by setis. .

Operate by setis. is designed for the people who make sure automation runs reliably every day:
IT operations, platform owners, and automation leads—everyone responsible for stability, availability, and continuous improvement.

Day-to-day stability instead of constant firefighting.

Your mission is clear—but demanding: automation must run, whether it’s holiday season, a wave of sick leave, or multiple major projects happening in parallel. With Operate by setis. you add a well-coordinated Automic team at your side—structuring operations, identifying risks early, and tackling technical issues immediately.

This turns “always chasing issues” into reliable, predictable platform operations.

Stable, standardized operation of the Automic platform
Access to an experienced team instead of relying on overloaded key individuals
Clean documentation and clearly defined points of contact
Proactive monitoring and fast response to incidents
Support for upgrades, patches, and security requirements

Workflows that keep up with the business.

Many Automic environments don’t fail because of the platform—they fail because nobody has time for proper workflow development. Requirements pile up, workarounds grow, and scripts become legacy over time. Operate by setis. closes exactly this gap: we bring best practices, standards, and delivery capacity—and ensure your automation catches up to where your business already is.

  • Intake and professional assessment of new requirements from IT and business units
  • Well-designed implementation of workflows and chains
  • Optimization of existing jobs for performance and stability
  • Best-practice consulting and coaching for your internal teams
  • Structured evolution instead of unclear, historically grown script landscapes

The modular service system of Operate by setis..

Operate by setis. consists of three modules. Each module covers a clearly defined area of responsibility. You combine Core, Monitor, and Implement to fit your Automic landscape, SLAs, and internal setup—from “we need targeted support” to “we want fully secured outsourced operations.”

Service scope in detail.

Core is the operational foundation of Operate by setis.. We ensure stable technical operations of your Broadcom Automic environment and take care of administration, configuration, and ongoing platform maintenance.

  • Operation and administration of Automic instances and clients/tenants
  • User and authorization management, including role and permission concepts
  • Configuration and maintenance of agents, queues, and system objects
  • Planning, organization, and support of maintenance windows
  • Support for patches and vendor releases based on proven best practices
  • Close collaboration with your infrastructure teams (database, OS, network)

You get stable, repeatable platform operations—without turning individual internal experts into single points of failure or concentrating critical knowledge in one person.

Monitor extends operations with continuous monitoring and structured incident management. The goal is to prevent outages wherever possible—or clearly limit their impact if something happens.

  • Technical monitoring of Automic components and interfaces
  • Regular health checks of the environment
  • Alerting in case of incidents and qualified initial diagnosis
  • Incident handling within defined response and resolution times
  • Escalation and communication paths based on a jointly defined process
  • Trend analysis to identify recurring patterns and weaknesses

You gain operational peace of mind because someone actively watches the platform, classifies incidents, and works them through in a structured way—instead of only reacting when things are already on fire.

Implement covers the content side of automation. We develop, optimize, and maintain your workflows and chains so new requirements go live safely, transparently, and efficiently.

  • Intake and evaluation of requirements from IT and business units
  • Design and implementation of new jobs, workflows, and automation chains
  • Optimization of existing workflows (performance, stability, maintainability)
  • Consulting on standards, naming conventions, and best practices in Automic
  • Support for projects, migrations, and release changes
  • Documentation of implemented solutions for operations and business teams

You get the capacity and know-how to use Automic properly—without compromises just because no one internally has the time for solid design and implementation.

Packages and sizing: aligned with the scope and criticality of your environment.

Not every Automic environment needs the same service level—and definitely not “all or nothing.” That’s why we offer our modules in clearly tiered package sizes. This allows you to align scope precisely with the size and criticality of your platform—from a lean entry package to a worry-free setup.

Package S

Entry level and smaller environments

  • For smaller installations.
  • Standard service hours, defined ticket and change quota.
  • Suitable if the platform is important but not business-critical.

Package M

Mature environments

  • For medium to large Automic setups across multiple departments.
  • Extended service hours, higher quotas for incidents and changes.
  • Suitable for systems with high availability expectations and many interfaces.

Package L/XL

Business-critical enterprise environments

  • For mission-critical platforms and complex environments.
  • Extended or 24/7 service hours, prioritized handling.
  • Higher quotas and extended governance elements (e.g., regular service reviews).

You combine modules and package sizes to match your reality. Many customers start with Core and Monitor in Package M and add Implement for particularly critical or fast-growing areas. If your environment grows or changes, we adjust modules, package sizes, and quotas together—without starting from scratch each time.

SLAs and responsibilities: clearly defined—not open to interpretation.

So you can truly rely on our service, we define clear service levels and responsibilities together with you. They are documented transparently, agreed contractually, reviewed regularly—and adjusted when needed.

Standard service hours (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00, excluding public holidays).

Options for extended service hours and 24/7 on-call—depending on criticality and your system requirements.

This creates an operating model that runs stable today—and grows with your requirements tomorrow.

How we get started together.

Operate by setis. s not a black-box service—it’s a partnership at eye level. Onboarding follows clearly structured steps—from the initial assessment to ongoing operations that remain fully transparent to you.

  1. Assessment & target state
Joint assessment of your Automic environment, pain points, dependencies, and objectives. Based on this, we define a realistic target state for operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  2. Service design
We define the right modules, package sizes, SLAs, and interfaces. The result is a service setup that fits your organization, processes, and systems.
  3. Transition & ramp-up
Setup of monitoring, access, and processes. Knowledge transfer and documentation. Alignment with your internal teams. After a defined ramp-up period, steady-state operations are established.
  4. Run & improve
In day-to-day operations, we ensure stability and continuous improvement. In regular service meetings, we review KPIs, identify optimization potential, and plan the next steps together.
